CargoFlow ("we," "our," or "us") provides mobile applications and connected Bluetooth devices used by trucking companies and their drivers to view axle weight data. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your information.

Information We Collect

  • Driver Account Data: When invited by a company representative, we may collect your name and email. Phone number may also be collected in the future.
  • Device / Sensor Data: The app connects to CargoFlow Bluetooth devices to display axle weight data.
  • Usage & Diagnostic Data: We may collect crash reports, performance metrics, and usage logs to help improve stability and app health.
  • Identifiers: Device identifiers (such as Bluetooth IDs) may be used for pairing and communication.

How We Use Information

We use collected data to:

  • Enable your access to the app and hardware.
  • Maintain, improve, and troubleshoot the app.
  • Help trucking companies manage devices and drivers.
  • Monitor app performance and diagnose issues.

Data Storage & Retention

Data is stored securely while your company account is active or until you request deletion.

Backups, logs, or related data are deleted or anonymized in accordance with internal retention practices.

We do not collect or store precise location (GPS) data.

We do not sell your personal information.

Sharing & Disclosure

We may share information with:

  • Your trucking company for account or device management.
  • Service providers (e.g. hosting, infrastructure, analytics) such as Vercel, crash/error reporting tools, etc.
  • Legal authorities, in compliance with legal obligations.

Children's Privacy

This app is intended for professional use by trucking companies and drivers. We do not target or knowingly collect data from individuals under 18 years old.

User Rights & Account Control

Drivers should reach out to their company representative to manage or delete account data.

We do not support driver-initiated deletion directly through the app (at this time).

Payments & Subscriptions

The app does not process payments or subscriptions. Any business or hardware purchases are handled separately outside the app.

Data Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse of your data.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy periodically. Changes will be posted here, and the "Last updated" date will reflect changes. Continued use of the app after revisions signifies acceptance of the changes.
